Nifty views for 30aug-3 sep

In last week Nifty was traded in our channel. but it was broke the channel on Friday. As it broke 5445 which we told a very crucial support Nifty plunge down around 50 point suddenly.
So now its time to be cautious in the market. Go long only if nifty close above 5510 till that sell on rise and it is good to sit with cash for Investors.
Crucial levels for next week is 5336 - 5545.
Nifty may saw level of 5210 in1-2 months if it will continuously trade below 5500 level.
It is good buying opportunity for the investors when fundamental strong company will get at bargain Price.

Trees That Wood

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty."
Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."
Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter" ... and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.
At the second tree a woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.
When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree so I'll take this one", and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark. The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.
Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time. Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.
Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

Positive Factors
1. DEFTY - dollar denominated Nifty is up 2.8% for the month of August. INR is not helping the FIIs
2. FIIs are bullish on India.
3. Reliance has very good setup make me optimistic. The stock has bounced from support 960.
Negative Factors
1. Technically the big problem for US market seems to be that there are lots of overhead resistance but no support on downside.
2. Double Dip noise is getting louder. There is apprehension that Q3 US GDP will come at negative 1.5%.
3. he slowdown worry is not only in the US. France has cut its projections for 2011 growth, down 0.5% to 2.0% for the year. There are also some doubts over the strength of the German economy in the second half of 2010.

The Wooden Bowl

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass often milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about grandfather," said the son. I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor. So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner at the dinner table. Since grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. Sometimes when the family glanced in grandfather's direction, he had a tear in his eye as he ate alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence.
One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?" Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and mama to eat your food from when I grow up." The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled. Children are remarkably perceptive. Their eyes ever observe, their ears ever listen, and their minds ever process the messages they absorb. If they see us patiently provide a happy home atmosphere for family members, they will imitate that attitude for the rest of their lives. The wise parent realizes that every day that building blocks are being laid for the child's future.
Let us all be wise builders and role models. Take care of yourself, ... and those you love, ... today, and everyday!

A Box Full of Kisses

The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy."
The man was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found out the box was empty. He yelled at her, stating, "Don't you know, when you give someone a present, there is supposed to be something inside? The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They're all for you, Daddy."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.
Only a short time later, an accident took the life of the child. It is also told that her father kept that gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each one of us, as humans beings, have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses... from our children, family members, friends, and God. There is simply no other possession, anyone could hold, more precious than this.

Wait For The Brick

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and drove the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car, shouting, "What was that all about and who are you?
Just what the heck are you doing?
That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money.
Why did you do it?"
The young boy was apologetic. "Please mister ... please, I'm sorry... I didn't know what else to do," he pleaded.
"I threw the brick because no one else would stop..."
With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car.
"It's my brother," he said.
"He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his fancy handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.
"Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger.
Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the little boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!
God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us.
It's our choice: Listen to the whisper ... or wait for the brick!

A Million Dollar Lesson

A cab driver taught me a million dollar lesson in customer satisfaction and expectation. Motivational speakers charge thousands of dollars to impart his kind of training to corporate executives and staff. It cost me a $12 taxi ride. I had flown into Dallas for the sole purpose of calling on a client. Time was of the essence and my plan included a quick turnaround trip from and back to the airport. A spotless cab pulled up. The driver rushed to open the passenger door for me and made sure I was comfortably seated before he closed the door. As he got in the driver's seat, he mentioned that the neatly folded Wall Street Journal next to me for my use. He then showed me several tapes and asked me what type of music I would enjoy. Well! I looked around for a "Candid Camera!" Wouldn't you? I could not believe the service I was receiving! I took the opportunity to say, "Obviously you take great pride in your work. You must have a story to tell." "You bet," he replied, "I used to be in Corporate America. But I got tired of thinking my best would never be good enough. I decided to find my niche in life where I could feel proud of being the best I could be. I knew I would never be a rocket scientist, but I love driving cars, being of service and feeling like I have done a full day's work and done it well. I evaluate my personal assets and... wham! I became a cab driver. One thing I know for sure, to be good in my business I could simply just meet the expectations of my passengers. But, to be GREAT in my business, I have to EXCEED the customer's expectations! I like both the sound and the return of being 'great' better than just getting by on 'average'" Did I tip him big time? You bet! Corporate America's loss is the traveling folk's friend!

In March 2010, NSE and CME had announced cross-listing arrangements including license agreements covering benchmark indexes for U.S. and Indian equities
National Stock Exchange of India Limited to inform about the commencement of trading of S&P CNX Nifty Futures on Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) from July 19, 2010.
In March 2010, NSE and CME had announced cross-listing arrangements including license agreements covering benchmark indexes for U.S. and Indian equities. Under the cross-listing arrangements, the S&P CNX Nifty Index (Nifty 50), the leading Indian benchmark index accounting for 22 sectors of the Indian economy, has been made available to CME for the creation and listing of U.S. dollar denominated futures contracts for trading on CME. The license to the Nifty 50 from NSE’s affiliate India Index Services & Products Ltd. (IISL) which is exclusive to CME group within the Americas and Europe, is in addition to the existing licensing arrangement between Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and IISL.
From July 19, 2010, CME will be introducing two new contracts designed to access India’s market opportunities viz. E-mini and E-micro S&P CNX Nifty (Nifty 50) futures.
The contract size of e mini contracts will be 10$ into the value of the Nifty index on that day and the e micro contracts will be 2 $ into the value of the Nifty index on NSE on that day.
These contracts will be traded on the CME Globex platform, providing access to participants around the world. Investors can trade for nearly 23 hours on CME Globex. These hours include the market hours in India (except the last one hour before the Indian market opens). These two new contracts are intended to give investors a more efficient means to gain exposure to India-related asset classes.
They can also trade the contracts to hedge their risks from existing exposure to the Indian stock market
Further, CME and SGX are extending their existing mutual offset arrangement to include the S&P CNX Nifty futures contract whereby investors can initiate a position at CME or SGX and offset it at the other exchange.
MD & CEO, NSE, Ravi Narain says “The introduction of these two new contracts will make the Nifty 50 available to a much larger community of traders and investors across various exchanges and time zones. This will also go a long way in realizing our vision of making Indian financial products available globally”

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
"Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
"Yes sure, what is it?" replied the man
"Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
"That's none of your business, why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.
"I just want to know, please tell me, how much do you make an hour?" pleaded the little boy.
"If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour"
"Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down, looking up, he said,
"Dad, may I please borrow Rs.50?"
The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yours
lf straight to your room and go to bed, think about why you are being so selfish."
"I work long hard hours everyday and don't have time for such childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, he had calmed down, and started to think, he may have been a little hard on his son.
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.50 and he really didn't ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" he asked.
"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier," said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.50 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have Rs.100 now, can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow, I would like to have dinner with you."
MORAL:We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Because, spending more time together is what relationship is all about.

Why trade in Nifty (www.myniftycalls.com)
Why Nifty
If you really want to earn money in the stock market, then don't deal in stocks - trade the nifty.
For all the technical analysis I do, I rarely trade in stocks...I trade the nifty.
Years of trading experience has taught me one simple thing...it is far easier to take a directional call on the broader market than individual stocks. If the economy is doing well, the market (nifty) will anyway do well (and vice versa).
Stock movements tend to cyclical, news driven or rangebound for considerable periods of time. Not only do you have to identify the sector correctly, you should also be able to pick the right stock. And then there is this possibility - everything else rallies except what you have bought.
From a fundamental perspective, this means you don't have to worry about crude oil, interest rates, FII inflows (or outflows), quarterly results, sectors, analysts talk and whatever you can think of.
Some advantages of trading the nifty:
- Index is the barometer of the stock market. If the market does well, Nifty will anyway rise (and vice versa)
- All FIIs and Mutual funds have an exposure on index and index stocks
- All good and bad news is reflected in index (nifty)
- You can play both sides of the market and profit from rallies as well as corrections
- You can daytrade in nifty (not recommended) or carry forward positions till expiry
- Low brokerage / nil demat costs
- Excellent liquidity: The daily turnover of nifty futures and options is 2-3 times that of ALL stocks traded on BSE.
- Low volatility: no wild swings. Because the nifty index is made of 50 stocks, it is always less volatile than the individual stocks. Check latest volatility statistics.
